Syllabus

Data Loader and Data Import Wizard
- In this module, we will explore Salesforce data import and export tools, including Data Loader and the Data Import Wizard. You will learn to handle large volumes of data efficiently and update records as needed. Practical exercises will include inserting, updating, deleting, and exporting records to reinforce your understanding.
Sharing Settings
- In this module, we will cover sharing settings in Salesforce to control who can access what data. You will learn to configure profiles, permission sets, and tab visibility to enforce security rules. Hands-on examples will include updating records and managing access through different Salesforce features.
Data Security in Salesforce: OWD, Role Hierarchy, Sharing Rules, Manual Sharing
- In this module, we will dive into Salesforce data security, including OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and manual sharing. You will learn to control record-level access based on roles and criteria. Practical exercises will include creating users, roles, and sharing rules to reinforce secure data management.
Special Permissions: View All, Modify All, View All Data and Modify All Data
- In this module, we will explore Salesforce’s special permissions such as View All, Modify All, View All Data, and Modify All Data. You will learn how these permissions affect data visibility and control. Real-world examples will demonstrate the appropriate use of these elevated access rights.
Recycle Bin
