  • Navigating the Windows 11 Environment
    • You are making the switch from Microsoft® Windows® 10 to Windows 11. As in earlier versions of Windows, Windows 11 provides tools to manage apps and files, navigate online resources, and communicate with other people. You will encounter many familiar features and tools, with a new look to them. You will also find new features not previously included in Windows. Taking time to navigate around within the new Windows 11 environment will have you working efficiently to perform your daily tasks in the new environment.
  • Using Apps
    • Several of the built-in apps have been updated with new functionality. All apps now have the rounded corners you have seen on the other Microsoft® Windows® 11 elements. In addition, some apps that were previously stand-alone apps are now included. Functionality that was shared by multiple apps have taken features from each and combined them into a single app. In this lesson, you will examine the updated and new built-in apps.
  • Managing Apps
    • Now that you have used the updated Microsoft® Windows® 11 apps, you might be wondering if any of the apps management features have changed. The Virtual Desktops feature has been updated and the Microsoft Store has been reorganized. In this lesson, you will examine those changes and how they are implemented in Windows 11.
  • Configuring Windows 11 Settings
    • Microsoft® Windows® 11 includes the familiar apps for configuring the operating system including Settings, Control Panel, and command shell windows. The organization and layout of those tools has changed, but the functionality remains mostly the same. The Ease of Access feature has been renamed to Accessibility, and again the functionality remains the same for the most part.
  • Completing the Course
    • You'll wrap things up and then validate what you've learned in this course by taking an assessment.
