Designing intelligent agents across Microsoft’s Copilot ecosystem requires architectural precision and extensibility planning. This course provides the technical foundation to design and evaluate production ready agent solutions using Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot. You’ll evaluate topic architectures, prompt actions, and agent flows in Copilot Studio with generative AI orchestration and Power Automate integration; recommend enterprise prompt library strategies with grounding and version control; assess extensibility using Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors and Computer Use automation; evaluate interoperability using the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol; and design Microsoft 365 Copilot agent solutions for Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Copilot for Sales and Service. By course end, you’ll be able to design intelligent agent solutions across Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365, recommend MCP and A2A integration approaches, and select the appropriate extensibility model for enterprise collaboration scenarios. This course is designed for AI architects, solutions consultants, and Copilot Studio practitioners. Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry and core agent design patterns is recommended.

Syllabus

Project Module: Microsoft Copilot Architect
- Learners produce an integrated Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot agent architecture document for a provided enterprise scenario—synthesizing topic architecture, conversation flow design, extensibility design, MCP connectivity, Computer Use automation, A2A orchestration, and Microsoft 365 Copilot surface alignment into a single coherent architecture deliverable that mirrors the platform design artifacts a practicing Copilot Architect produces for enterprise clients.
