Foundations of Quality Models

This module introduces learners to the fundamentals of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and its role in quality models. It explains the history, structure, and framework of CMMI, highlighting the concepts of capability levels, maturity levels, and equivalent staging. Learners will explore how CMMI supports both staged and continuous representations and understand its impact on project management and engineering processes. Process Goals and Institutionalization

This module focuses on the goals, practices, and institutionalization aspects of CMMI that ensure process sustainability and effectiveness. Learners will examine generic goals and practices, project planning principles, monitoring and control mechanisms, and supplier agreements. The module also highlights how organizations achieve compliance, manage requirements, and assure quality through structured analysis and process assurance.
