  • Planning of Terminal Building Including Services
    • This module delves into the comprehensive planning of terminal buildings, focusing on layout considerations, functional requirements, and passenger conveniences. Learners will explore the design of departure and arrival gates, and understand the integration of essential MEP and HVAC services. The module concludes with a BIM model walkthrough, providing a visual understanding of terminal design.
  • Planning of Approach to Terminal Building and Utilities
    • This module focuses on the planning of infrastructure that connects the city to the terminal, including approach roads, landscaping, and drainage systems. Learners will explore the design of parking facilities, landside access, and arrival/departure forecourts. The module also covers the planning of essential utilities, such as water harvesting, supply management, fuel storage, power supply, renewable energy integration, and the placement of the airport fire & rescue station.
  • Terminal Operations Framework
    • This module examines the operational framework of terminal buildings, focusing on the flow of passengers and baggage. Learners will explore gate demand methods, check-in and ticketing processes, baggage claim operations, and security screening procedures. The module also covers the design of curb and holdroom areas, ensuring smooth passenger flow.
  • Planning of Air Cargo Facility and Sustainable Airports
    • This module focuses on the planning of air cargo facilities and the integration of sustainability principles into airport development. Learners will analyze air cargo demand, design air cargo aprons, and explore cargo handling systems and storage.
