Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming integral to how organizations operate, innovate, and compete. This course introduces ISO/IEC 42001:2023, the world’s first international Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS) standard. You will explore how the standard helps organizations improve performance, manage AI‑related risks, and support trustworthy and ethical use of AI. The course also covers ISO/IEC 22989:2023, the normative reference that defines the foundational AI concepts and terminology essential to effective AI management. Designed to complement existing knowledge of management system standards, this course provides a clear and practical introduction to AI concepts and AI systems. It equips learners with the understanding needed to support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an AI management system within an organization.
