In this module, you will explore the origins, vision, and evolution of Saviynt’s Converged Identity Cloud—one of the most advanced identity security platforms in the industry. You will begin by learning about Saviynt’s founders and the core challenges they set out to solve as enterprises struggled with fragmented identity systems, rising compliance needs, and growing cyber risks. Next, you will understand why Saviynt was born: the need for a unified, intelligent platform that seamlessly brings together Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Management, Application Access Governance, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and risk analytics. You will then dive into the concept of the Identity Cloud, learning how Saviynt’s cloud-native architecture simplifies deployment, accelerates onboarding, and enables scalable security across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Finally, you will explore Saviynt’s convergence-by-design philosophy, the customer-centric approach that drives innovation, and how world-class organizations across industries rely on Saviynt to secure their identity landscapes. This module helps you understand the strategic “why” behind the platform before learning the “how” in subsequent modules.

Saviynt Converged Identity Cloud Core Capabilities

In this module, you will explore the foundational components of Saviynt’s Converged Identity Cloud, which integrates Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Cloud Privileged Access Management (CPAM), Application Access Governance (AAG), External Identity Management, Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM), and Just‑In‑Time Access (JITA). You will learn about IGA, which governs user access and automates identity lifecycle management. Next, you’ll discover how CPAM secures privileged access in cloud environments, while AAG provides governance for applications like SAP and Oracle. Additionally, you’ll get introduced to External Identity Management for managing non-employees.
