  • Power Plant Measuring Instruments
    • This module provides a comprehensive understanding of measuring instruments and final control elements used in power plant instrumentation and control systems. It covers the fundamentals of instrument selection, industrial drawings, and the principles, sizing, and selection criteria for pressure, temperature, level, and flow measurement instruments. The module also introduces supervisory instruments and analyzers used for monitoring power plant processes, including steam and water analyzers. Additionally, it covers final control elements such as control valve construction, CV sizing, cavitation and flashing phenomena, actuator types, and control valve flow characteristics.
  • Power Plant Control System
    • This module provides a detailed understanding of power plant control systems, their architecture, configurations, and communication networks used for automated plant operation. It covers the fundamentals of control system architecture, automated control systems, control system configurations, communication protocols, wireless communication technologies, and industrial field communication systems such as Foundation Fieldbus and PROFIBUS used for reliable process monitoring, data exchange, and control in modern power plants.
