Meet the HVAC Technician

The lesson explores how HVAC systems require regular maintenance and occasional repair, and how technicians install, service, and troubleshoot heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Learners will discover the wide range of environments HVAC technicians work in, from residential homes to hospitals and commercial buildings.

A Day on the Job

In this interactive module, learners step into the role of an HVAC technician and experience a full workday through immersive 3D simulations. Across three service calls—morning, afternoon, and evening—learners will engage with realistic job scenarios that reflect the variety and pace of the HVAC field. This module provides an opportunity to apply problem-solving skills, make decisions in real time, and gain insight into the daily responsibilities of a technician in the field.
