Each concept is reinforced through step-by-step hands-on demonstrations that you can follow along on your own setup, pause, replicate, and practice at your own pace. By the end of this course, you'll be able to: Explain how the web and browsers work, understand the anatomy of an HTML document, and structure text content using headings, paragraphs, and inline elements. Build navigable, well-organized web pages using hyperlinks, file paths, images, figures, lists, and data tables. Apply semantic HTML elements to create meaningful, accessible page layouts instead of generic, unstructured markup. Syllabus

The Web and HTML Essentials
- In this module, learners will explore the foundations of the web and HTML, including how the internet and browsers work, the anatomy of an HTML document, structuring text with headings and paragraphs, and applying inline formatting, comments, and character entities to build clean, well-structured web pages.
Links, Images, Lists and Tables
- In this module, learners will build practical page-construction skills by working with hyperlinks and navigation, structuring project files and paths, embedding images and figures with proper accessibility attributes, and creating lists and data tables to organize and present content effectively.
Semantic Structure, Forms and the Complete Site
- In this final module, learners will reinforce their understanding of HTML by reviewing key concepts from the course, completing a hands-on project that integrates semantic HTML, accessible forms, embedded media, and validation practices, and demonstrating their knowledge through a graded assessment.
