Syllabus

  • Introduction
    • In this module, we will introduce the course and outline what you can expect to learn. You’ll set up the development environment by installing VS Code and explore helpful resources to enhance your learning experience. Lastly, you’ll download the necessary materials to begin working on your projects.
  • Basic HTML Tags
    • In this module, we will introduce essential HTML tags like headings, paragraphs, and lists for structuring content. We’ll also dive into text formatting and tables to improve content presentation. You’ll then apply these concepts to create your first simple web page in the "About Me" project.
  • Advanced HTML Tags
    • In this module, we will explore advanced HTML tags, including anchor tags for linking, image tags for adding media, and interactive elements like buttons and input fields. You'll use these features in the "Collectors" project, where you’ll build a website to showcase a collection.
  • Organized HTML
    • In this module, we will focus on organizing HTML content for better readability and maintainability. You’ll learn how to use block-level and inline elements, along with div and span tags, to structure and style your web pages effectively. These techniques will be applied to organize the "Collectors" project for improved navigation and design.
  • Semantic HTML
    • In this module, we will delve into semantic HTML tags to give structure and meaning to your web pages. You’ll apply these tags to create an accessible and well-organized "Ninja Turtle" website, improving both user experience and SEO. Finally, you will complete a project to demonstrate your understanding of semantic HTML.
