Throughout the course, you’ll explore: Gamma Cards: Generate a Gamma from a one-line prompt, create usable card content, and assemble a presentation. Import and Restructure: Bring PowerPoint or Word files into Gamma, cut redundancy, and shape a narrative with outline breaks. AI Editing and Themes: Regenerate cards for a new tone or audience, apply a theme, and create a consistent voice and look. Export and Delivery: Produce PDF, PowerPoint, and PNG files for stakeholder scenarios. - This module introduces cards, the building blocks Gamma uses to hold content, and shows how they behave differently from slides in traditional presentation software. You will see how a card sizes itself around what it contains, how layout works as a property you can change without touching your writing, and how a presentation is generated from a short description of your subject. You will also learn which choices belong in your prompt and which belong in the settings, a distinction that shapes the quality of everything you generate afterwards.
How to Import an Existing Deck or Document and Restructure It into a Clean Gamma Narrative
- Most people have existing material they would rather reuse than rebuild. This module covers what actually happens when you import a PowerPoint or Word file, why the original structure travels across along with the text, and how to reshape it into something that suits its new purpose. You will work with the settings that decide whether your text is expanded, summarised, or preserved, write instructions that tell the tool what to remove and what to protect, and shape the outline before anything is generated, which is the cheapest point at which to make structural decisions.
How to Refine Gamma Content and Styling with AI Prompts
- A generated draft tends to arrive in a competent but anonymous voice, written for no one in particular. This module covers how to change that using written instructions, and how to make the result look deliberate rather than default. You will learn what separates an instruction that works from one that returns something vaguely shorter, how to control whether a change affects one card or an entire deck, and why every result is proposed rather than applied. The module also covers how tone and audience settings shape writing differently from one another, and how a theme restyles a whole presentation without altering a word of its content.
How to Export a Gamma to PDF, PowerPoint, and PNG for Stakeholder Delivery
- An exported file is the only version of your work that most people ever see, and a poor choice of format tends to fail quietly rather than obviously. This module covers the export options available, the settings worth adjusting before you produce a file, and how to choose between formats based on what the recipient will do next. You will also see why some layouts shift when work moves into a fixed-size slide format, what the overflow warning is telling you, and why opening an exported file before sending it is a habit worth forming.
How to Publish a Gamma as a Website and Manage Domain Settings
- Publishing turns a piece of work into a live page with its own address, which changes how it is found, shared, and kept current. This module covers what converting a presentation into a site involves, why converting and publishing are separate actions, and the settings that determine who can reach your page and what they see when they do. You will also learn how the free web address works, what a custom domain does and does not change, and what to prepare before connecting one to your own site.
How to Generate a Gamma Programmatically Using the Generate API
- Everything Gamma does through its interface can also be requested directly, which becomes useful when one presentation becomes forty, or when something needs to be produced without anyone present to make it. This module covers how to obtain API access through Gamma's developer documentation, how to create and store a key safely, and how to send a request without writing any code. You will learn what a request is made of, why generation is asynchronous, and how to collect the finished result, along with what generations cost and how to keep experiments inexpensive.
