In this course, you'll discover what's actually happening in your brain when emotions take over, then hands you the tools to ride those waves instead of being pulled under. You'll work with Plutchik's wheel of core emotions, Goleman's five traits of emotional intelligence, the 90-second neurochemical wave, the survey-and-scale technique, and Shinzen Young's equation Suffering = Pain x Resistance. Syllabus

  • Emotional Intelligence Essentials
    • Emotions shape your decisions, relationships, and sense of self, so getting fluent in them is one of the most practical skills you can build. In this module, you'll gain a working model of emotional intelligence and apply techniques to name, regulate, and respond to emotions with awareness and compassion.
  • Hacking Your Emotions
    • Stress, anxiety, and information overload can quietly hijack your mood and pull you out of your best thinking. In this module, you'll apply science-backed techniques to recognize stress responses, reduce resistance to pain, and build daily habits like gratitude that rewire your mindset toward calm and clarity.
  • Mastering Your Relationships
    • Strong relationships are built on how clearly you read others and how mindfully you respond, in person and online. In this module, you'll apply mindful communication practices and digital habits so you can listen deeply, communicate authentically, and bring your emotional intelligence into every interaction.
