Welcome

In this course, you will learn to transform user research insights into effective UX products. You'll master the art of clearly defining problems, using creative brainstorming and ideation techniques to generate innovative solutions. You will also learn to build scenarios and define functions by formalizing your ideas. The course covers key components like information architecture, task flows, and wireframe design to refine and structure your product.

Design Foundations

This module marks the transition from the research phase to the design journey, focusing on the initial steps in creating user-centric solutions. You will explore the concept of user personas, a crucial tool for understanding and empathizing with your target audience. The module also guides you in crafting clear and actionable problem and vision statements, laying the foundation for effective design. In the final lesson, you will learn widely used brainstorming and creative techniques to generate innovative ideas and solutions.

Designing User Scenarios

This module builds on design foundations, teaching you to create scenarios, define specifications and requirements, and design information architecture.

Designing Interaction Techniques

This module explores key interaction techniques for creating intuitive user personas and information architecture. It covers Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) systems, delves into the properties of input devices, and provides a methodology for selecting the most suitable interaction techniques for your design.

Designing Solutions

This module introduces UX flows that enable designers to conceptualize a navigation flow and place suitable interactions. It also explains different types of wireframes and discusses their importance.

Design Guidelines

This module covers design guidelines for a range of technology platforms, including but not limited to Web, Desktop and mobile apps, Wearables, Virtual and Augment Reality. Learn to craft intuitive, user-friendly experiences that transcend device boundaries.
