Addresses the question of how to understand and specify the flow of work responsibility and movement of information throughout the enterprise. For businesses to maximize the benefits of technology, they must transform their ad-hoc and often poorly defined ways of doing things to formal business processes. Analyzes the specification and implementation of complex information systems that integrate well into core business operations. Offers students an opportunity to learn how to use agile process specification techniques, dynamic process execution, and real-time measurement and reporting to support continuous business improvement and change. Syllabus

  • Analytical Solution Development
    • In this module, Analytical Solution Development, we will dive into the crucial phase of benefits management and solution evaluation in the context of project and program management. We will also explore how to harness the output of solution analysis to develop a benefits management plan and evaluate the success of a solution.
  • Data Visualization
    • In this module, Data Visualization, we will delve into the intricacies of process mapping methodologies and approaches, with a specific focus on two prominent techniques: flowcharting and value stream mapping. Furthermore, we will explore supplementary tools, such as swimlane diagrams, process diagrams, data flow diagrams, and functional decomposition, highlighting their applications and benefits in diverse organizational contexts.
  • Agile and the Engineer
    • Throughout this module, Agile and the Engineer, we encourage active participation, discussion, and reflection. By the end of this journey, you will not only have a solid grasp of project management methodologies and the agile mindset but also the practical skills to apply them effectively in your professional endeavors.
  • Business Agility I
    • In this module, Business Agility I, we will embark on a journey through the core topics that are central to achieving excellence in Agile product development and scaling practices within the modern organizational landscape. As businesses adapt to dynamic markets and evolving customer needs, it becomes imperative to design customer-centric approaches for product development. We'll explore strategies for doing just that, placing your customers at the heart of your product delivery processes.
  • Business Agility II
    • By the end of this module, Business Agility II, you will have a comprehensive toolkit for navigating the complexities of business agility, driving change, and fostering innovation within your organization.
  • Lean and the Engineer
    • In this module, Lean and the Engineer, we will explore a wide range of topics that will equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in engineering project management. We'll begin by delving into the art of creating an Agile project charter, providing you with the essential foundation for successful project management. From there, we'll apply systems thinking to real-world value stream scenarios, enabling you to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency.

    • In this module, Cross Functional Team Dynamics and Emerging Topics, we will explore the crucial aspects of building and managing agile teams, optimizing planning processes, and ensuring quality in product development. This module is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional team dynamics in Agile project management.
