We'll cover AWS Trusted Advisor for best practice checks, and dive into AWS Config for tracking resource compliance, with step-by-step activities like setting up SNS topics. You'll also learn about AWS Control Tower for multi-account setup and governance, along with its dashboard functionalities. Finally, we'll introduce AWS X-Ray for tracing application requests, backed by practical demonstrations. By week's end, you'll have strong skills in AWS observability and compliance tools.
  • Advanced: Management and Governance in AWS
    • Welcome to Week 2. This week, we'll explore AWS Organizations, including its structure and management through Service Control Policies (SCPs) with hands-on demos. We'll dive into AWS Cost Explorer to track and optimize cloud spending effectively. Shifting focus to AWS CloudFormation, we'll cover stack sets, deletion policies, nested stacks, and change sets, all reinforced with practical demonstrations. Finally, we'll introduce AWS Compute Optimizer to help you right-size and optimize compute resources automatically. By the end of the week, you'll be confident in managing multi-account environments, controlling costs, and automating infrastructure deployments with best practices.
