Every organization has someone deciding what the team builds next, and how well that person does their job determines whether the team delivers real value or just stays busy. This course gives product owners and product managers a practical set of tools for leading well in a fast-moving, agile environment. You'll identify your key stakeholders and build an adaptive product roadmap that holds up when priorities shift. You'll trust your team with more ownership while sharing the business context that helps them make confident decisions on their own. You'll deliver work in smaller, frequent pieces that protect your team's ability to adapt, and build the persistence and Scrum Master partnership that keep an agile transformation alive past its first setback. By the end of this course, you'll apply a complete set of agile product management practices, from stakeholder mapping through sustained team leadership, to consistently ship products your organization and customers value.

Syllabus

  • Succeeding in Agile Product Management
    • You're juggling stakeholders who all think they're your top priority, while trying to build a roadmap that won't fall apart the moment priorities shift. In this module, you'll identify your key stakeholders, build the business relationships that keep priority information flowing, and construct an adaptive product roadmap so you can consistently ship work that delivers real value.
  • Maximizing Your Team's Value
    • Your team has more insight into how to get work done than you do, and holding onto every decision yourself only slows both of you down. In this module, you'll build the trust and information flow that lets your team make confident decisions, so you can focus your energy on asking the questions that actually clarify what's worth building.
  • Shipping Work Effectively
    • Your customers don't want to wait a year to see progress, and your team's ability to adapt shrinks the longer you wait to show them something real. In this module, you'll build the habit of delivering work in smaller pieces and protecting your team's focus, so you can consistently ship value your customers can react to.
  • Avoiding Common Pitfalls
    • You've probably seen an agile push stall out, not because agile itself failed, but because people gave up before the new way of working had time to prove itself. In this module, you'll build the persistence to stick with change through pushback, practice the patience that turns small wins into long-term success, and build a genuine partnership with your Scrum Master.
  • Conclusion
    • You've built the skills, but skills only matter once you actually put them into practice as the person driving change on your team. In this module, you'll apply what you've learned about stakeholders, trust, delivery, and partnership as you step into the role of a genuine change champion.
