Work together with your team to escape the mysterious and unsettling Upside Down dimension, or face being trapped there permanently.
The year is 1983. You are playing a game of Dungeons and Dragons with your friends in a basement, when suddenly, your friend rolls a natural 1 with fateful consequences. "The Demogorgon sniffs the air and looks directly at your party. You have been caught." The session ends and you depart to head back home. However, on your way home, you notice an unsettling swirling essence forming at the end of the road. As you approach it with curiosity, you feel an intense force pulling your entire body into the mysterious vortex.
Everything becomes cold and dark. Around you stand the same familiar buildings, but in the distance, you can see sprawling mountain ranges, floating rocks suspended in mid-air, and massive cosmic horror entities that defy description and comprehension. Welcome to the Upside Down dimension. We hope you can escape safely and return home.
What Your Group Will Do:
- Our facilitator will welcome your group, explain the game rules with clarity, and energize the event with enthusiasm and passion
- Your group will be divided into smaller mini teams of four to six people with a single hour to collaborate and work together to escape the room
- Teams will encounter clues, puzzles, and activities presented as character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips. You will also play mini-games that reveal additional clues to help you accomplish your goal
- While most of your time will be spent working in mini-teams, you will have multiple opportunities to interact with and celebrate victories with the whole group throughout the event
