Peace, love, and the best 60 minutes you have ever spent in a VW van. Disco Escape takes your group on a groovy, time-bending virtual adventure that starts in the present and ends somewhere entirely unexpected.
You and your friends have just finished restoring a magnificent 1970s Volkswagen Transporter. After adding every trippy detail imaginable, you head out for a celebratory drive. Then a storm rolls in from the coast, lightning strikes the van, and when the smoke clears, you step outside into the vibrant, bell-bottom-wearing, disco-dancing world of the 1970s.
The only way back to the present? Visit key landmarks from the decade, collect special items, and piece together the solution before time runs out. Fail, and you will be wearing bell-bottoms for the rest of your life.
What your group will do:
- Your facilitator welcomes the group, explains the rules, and launches the event with maximum energy
- Participants split into breakout room mini-teams and begin working through riddles, puzzles, and challenges to escape
- Clues arrive in the form of character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips, and mini-games unlock additional information along the way
- Most time is spent in mini-teams, but there are moments throughout to reconnect with the whole group
