Mini teams have 75 minutes to work together to escape from the North Pole region or risk being stranded indefinitely.
You and your friends book a Groupon deal for an exciting trip to the North Pole and are filled with enthusiasm and bright-eyed excitement about exploring the blistering cold and experiencing all it has to offer. After several hours aboard a private plane, you notice some turbulence but decide to shrug it off and take a nap. In the middle of the night, you awaken to heart-stopping and severe turbulence. The captain comes over the PA system with an urgent announcement from Captain Thayne Jackson informing the group that an emergency landing must be made immediately.
After landing, you realize that some of your group's equipment and luggage was lost during the emergency landing situation. To make matters worse, you're all stranded with no cellular service at all. Captain Jackson tells you that although she has limited experience in this remote region, she can hopefully help guide you to your intended destination at the North Pole. Jackson has warned the group about obstacles that lie ahead on the journey. From the majestic reindeer and playful penguins to the terrifying polar bears and severe blistering blizzards, you can only imagine the challenging trek ahead.
How It Works:
- This event will take place over Zoom video conference and will be facilitated by one of our fun and energetic hosts
- Your group will be split into mini teams of four to six people, with 75 minutes to work together to escape. Although you will be working in smaller teams, you will still have opportunities to interact with the whole group throughout the event
- Teams will be presented with clues, puzzles, and activities in the form of character descriptions, virtual maps, audio clips, and video clips. You will play mini-games to uncover additional clues that will help you reach your goal
