This class is designed for students who are auditioning for the LaGuardia Performing Arts School, Professional Performing Arts School, Professional Children’s School, Repertory High School, Talent Unlimited High School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, Edward R. Murro High School, as well as other performing arts programs.
During this class students will work on:
- Material selection; students will select 1-2 monologues
- Exploring the Barrow Group acting tools
- Audition techniques
- Mock interviews and auditions
- Learn how to successfully set-up, film, and submit a self-tape
The goal is for students to leave the class with prepared material and the confidence to do well in their auditions and interviews.
This class teaches our specific approach to acting, and introduces students to the same tools that our adult professional actors work with.
