Overview

While projects focus on specific, tangible deliverables and the project manager's primary goal centers on achieving those outcomes, a program manager oversees numerous related projects and operations that benefit the organization broadly. As an integral part of the organization's strategic business, you, as program manager, must apply highly specialized skills, knowledge, and tools to exercise control that would be impossible through individual project management alone. In this course, you will develop the skills and best practices required to successfully manage a program.
