The FOURTH segment of the comprehensive High Intermediate five-level course series designed for children ages 11-14.
Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of French in the classroom by using French activities, grammar drills, visual elements as well as conversation. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.
A great course for students who are 11 to 14 years old and have completed level High Intermediate 3 or similar.
Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the High Intermediate 4 level:
COMMUNICATION: Present an influencer or public figure, express difficulties and propose solutions, explain how a technology or system works, discuss personal origins and cultural identity, report statements made by others, and share viewpoints in discussions.
VOCABULARY: Digital identity, influencers, online behavior, artificial intelligence, family origins, migration, humor, and cultural identity
GRAMMAR: The pronoun y, placement of adverbs, compound relative pronouns, expressions of time, and reported speech in the present and past.
Next Level: High Intermediate 5.
