This course is designed for students ages 14 to 17 who have little to no prior language experience. Our language classes for teens provide a comprehensive platform for advancing language skills and exploring French culture. These classes are carefully tailored to match student interests and abilities, delving deeper into grammar, literature, and real-world conversations while incorporating multimedia resources and engaging discussions. This course prepares teens for effective global communication and academic success.
Students will begin by learning fundamental vocabulary and simple sentence structures to express personal information, describe where they live, and identify the people they know. Students will develop the ability to understand familiar words and basic phrases related to themselves, their family, and their immediate concrete surroundings when instructors speak slowly and clearly.
Teaching Method:
Native-fluency instructors actively promote the use of French in the classroom through engaging French activities, games, songs, visual elements, and manipulatives. Instructors use carefully selected audio and visual elements that are complementary and interrelated, ensuring that the same vocabulary or grammar concept is practiced and reinforced in multiple ways.
