Our Total Beginner Japanese Classes meet online once a week in small classes, with a minimum of 2 students and a maximum of 6. If there are 2 students enrolled, classes are 60 minutes. If there are 3 to 6 students enrolled, classes are 90 minutes.
Our Japanese classes are designed for students with little to no background in Japanese, and our engaging, professional, native teachers will guide you every step of the way.
Over the course of 8 weeks, you can expect to learn basic vocabulary and conversational topics, practice greetings and everyday interactions, and receive an introduction to the Japanese writing system - hiragana, katakana, and simple kanji.
Materials are not included in the cost of the class and are generally available in the $20 – $30 range. The textbook for this course, Japanese For Busy People 1 (Romanized Edition), may be purchased online from Amazon or at the retailer of your choice.
