A great course for those who have completed High Beginner level 3 or similar. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the Beginner 1 level:
- COMMUNICATION: University life, courses and schedules, preferences, professions and qualifications, work routines, job applications, housing and accommodation, household chores and responsibilities, daily routines
- GRAMMAR: Present tense of regular and irregular verbs. Modal verbs: müssen, können, dürfen. Word order in questions and statements. Present perfect tense. Modal verbs: wollen, sollen. Indirect speech (reported speech). Noun declension: nominative, accusative, and dative cases. Adjective declension: endings, comparison. Prepositions and their cases.
This is the FIRST part of the three-course long German Intermediate 1 sequence.
