This class is designed for adults who have mastered verb tenses and want to polish their conversation skills in a stimulating, small-group, round-table discussion involving current events.
This program is conducted entirely in French. Dialogues are teacher-moderated so that students understand nuances in vocabulary, pronunciation, and usage. Pupils are often handed a current, French-language article with which to prepare for next class.
Pre-requisite: Students should already speak French with relative fluency, but still have trouble understanding the language.
French films, songs, and audio recordings may be used to accustom the ear to the flow of the language.
