In this live, online summer certificate program, high school students master the fundamentals of programming in both Java and Python, building a foundation that positions them ahead of the curve in AP Computer Science and introduces them to the growing fields of data science and machine learning.
Delivered entirely live and online, this certificate takes students from the very first principles of programming through progressively more complex material, with Java and Python serving as the two core languages. Both are among the most widely taught and most in-demand programming languages at universities and in the workforce worldwide. Students will develop two critically valuable skills: programming fluency and data science literacy.
Schedule: Weekdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, running for six weeks.
Format: Live online instruction, streamed in real time. Students can ask questions and interact with the instructor during every session.
