The program begins with Microsoft Excel and finance, then transitions into Python programming and data science, giving students a well-rounded foundation that spans both analytical thinking and technical execution.
Excel
Develop strong Excel proficiency across three days of focused instruction. Begin with Excel Fundamentals, covering data entry, charting, and essential keyboard shortcuts. Move into Intermediate Excel to master Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP. Finish with Advanced Excel, where you'll automate workflows using macro recording. Students leave with real Excel fluency that opens doors in virtually every industry.
Finance and Investing
Learn what moves stock prices and how investors assess a company's true value. Topics include the essentials of valuation using P/E ratios and DCF analysis, how to read financial statements, and the basics of fundamental stock research. Students analyze actual earnings releases and valuation data from major companies, including Google and Apple.
Python for Data Science
The second half of the program shifts into Python, starting from the fundamentals and building toward practical data science applications. Using Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn, students learn to input, process, analyze, and visualize complex data sets.
