This course is the ideal option if you already know the basics of communication. Here, you start diving further: you speak in the past tense, you make comparisons, and you start to establish more complex sentences. This class is a great place to have fun with the language and develop your ability to communicate. Throughout this course, you will learn to say what you like, what you want to do and express your opinion on topics from daily life.
Who Should Attend
- A recent graduate of Beginner Level 1 (from the previous semester);
- Former Beginner student refreshed with an LFBK refresher workshop or private lesson class pack; or
- A globetrotter who has lived, studied, and/or worked in a Francophone country with little or no formal French language study.
What you'll learn
Build upon the foundation of Beginner 1 with this course; enhancing competency through understanding of the imperative form, adverbs, comparisons and the past tense, plus:
- How to talk about your past experiences;
- What you want to do in the future;
- Ask people about their habits; and
- Invite people, order food and even shop in French
