This beginner path introduces Scala syntax, basic scripts, variables, and simple mathematical problem-solving. It is designed for learners with little or no prior Scala experience.
You will write reusable functions and control program flow with conditional statements, for loops, while loops, and nested loops. You will also work with arrays, lists, sets, maps, and multidimensional data.
The path then covers object-oriented programming in Scala, including classes, objects, constructors, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism, and traits. Practical exercises help you apply these concepts when designing and modifying programs.
