This intermediate path covers the core skills needed to run web applications with NGINX. You will serve static content, proxy requests to Flask backends, host multiple applications, and use logs to understand server activity.

You will secure deployments with authentication, rate limiting, traffic blocking, and HTTPS. You will also improve reliability and performance through load balancing, caching, Gzip compression, URL rewriting, health checks, and monitoring.

Finally, you will use Lua and OpenResty to customize request and response handling, create API logic, manage shared-memory caching, and run background tasks. This path is suited to developers and system administrators who have basic web server and command-line experience.
