This course provides a comprehensive introduction to AWS Security Agent, an AI-powered penetration testing service that transforms security testing from periodic events into continuous, scalable capabilities. The course begins by examining the challenge of development velocity outpacing security testing, where 60% of organizations update applications weekly, yet only 75% test monthly or less, and the limitations of traditional security tools including SAST, DAST, SCA, and manual penetration testing. Participants will explore how AWS Security Agent combines these capabilities into one context-aware solution that performs design reviews in minutes, code reviews in near real-time via GitHub integration, and penetration testing in hours rather than weeks. The course covers the agent's ability to chain vulnerabilities into verified, reproducible attacks, reducing false positives and alert fatigue. The training includes hands-on guidance for getting started with AWS Security Agent, including defining organizational security requirements, performing document reviews, connecting GitHub repositories, and running penetration tests.
