Learners will gain practical knowledge of building agentic generative AI assistants that combine large language models with dynamic data retrieval -- known as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The course covers implementing intelligent search using both semantic and text-based approaches with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Strands Agents, and Amazon OpenSearch. Participants will understand how these systems maintain multi-step conversations, query backend databases in real-time, and integrate retrieved information into LLM-generated responses to deliver precise, current answers to users.
