This module helps you choose the right compute platform for an online store's product catalog API. AWS offers several compute services for running your API code, including AWS Lambda, Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS), and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2). Each option has different cost, performance, and operational trade-offs that affect development velocity and operational complexity.

This module teaches you to evaluate compute options and understand your role as an AWS developer. You will learn decision frameworks that help you choose appropriate services based on business requirements, team capabilities, and cost considerations.

Note: This course has been updated to enhance your learning experience. The learning objectives remain the same. As part of this update, in-progress status may be reset. If you have already completed this course, no action is needed.
