In this course, you are building the first version of your online store's product catalog API. Your website needs to display products to customers, but you have no way to serve product data through HTTP endpoints. Without an API, your product information remains inaccessible to your frontend application.
This module teaches you to build and deploy a working REST API using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway. You will create Lambda functions that handle product operations and configure API Gateway to route HTTP requests. You will also deploy your infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK). By the end, you will have a functional product catalog API that your website can call to retrieve and manage products.
