Course description
The aviation industry has been devastated by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Aviation employees have had to deal with multiple layoffs and redundancies, consistent changes to the operating environment and continued uncertainty over prolonged periods of time. Those returning to the industry have found the workplace to be a far different place than when they left it - new ways of working, new colleagues to work alongside, varying methods of hygiene and safety required.
Those businesses that have demonstrated organizational resilience have faced the challenges and sought new opportunities in the new normal. Individual resilience has assisted in the recovery and shaping of future operations to enable organizations to thrive.
This course will outline the concepts of individual, team and organizational resilience and introduce skills that may be applied within the workplace. Skills such as understanding how to demonstrate and assess resilience within an interview setting; reframing and readiness for the constant change the aviation industry faces. Change that is necessary to enable organizations and individuals to identify new opportunities, prepare for and overcome challenges and barriers.
