This Place is a Message - Understanding Your Role in History

This was a very informative eye-opening. Learning experience the presentation The pauses to let it sink in the way he explained it was easily understandable and easy to retain. i learned a lot in the short session about things. I did not previously know, and about education that has not been afforded to me from this alternate lens. he had a way of bringing us right into the train tunnels. When he said he walked alongside them and it was slippery and icy, you could see how the Chinese head worked in those conditions you can visualize it then when he went in the cave for further research on his book, his hand slid through groove. The tools had made it made me wonder if the hands had one over that freezing surface so many times by the workers that it made the grooves or they were intentionally made by the tools to hang on to walking any Icu slippery a surface below their feet. I can't imagine how frigid and freezing How hungry and how much food they must have needed to stay warm in that environment? The house I bought has tunnels underneath for escape back in the days when the Chinese literally were killed on-site in Chicago from Just having different shaped eyes alone, we brought them over here to do the railroad and then, rather than send them back and spend a pocket full of change, we decided to kill them. It was actually native americans that had dark skin that attended the man who owned.It was a millionaire from back east, it was considered a Craftsman house, a mansion, but the design is actually from the Japanese. It was the dark-skinned. Indians who attended these people had to live on the outskirts of the city.
And also during prohibition era, when alcohol was prohibited, the doctor that owned the house had a small little room in front that was his office in the front house. He would write prescriptions for alcohol kind of the same as writing prescriptions for marijuana. Today he would write prescriptions for people that would be super. Nervous without the alcohol sedation. Well, he also happened to be the guy that was running bootleg. Speak easy with illegal alcohol club in the back house in the basement. And he also had the bootleg alcohol that those people could turn in their prescription on the premises for their alcohol. he had money coming in from illegal booze, the illegal booze club and the alley loading up and carrying booths to various places in the country to sell it illegally because he also made it in the whiskey, still down in the basement behind the wall of the club. my point is the story, if you look, if you see, and I wondered why there was a specific peek hole and bullet holes in the door going down to the basement. I didn't have to look hard to question that one. And why the stairs were made a certain way almost like industrial, coming up the hill to the house and why the house. Although it was considered an historical mansion, I mean, it's just an old house had nice hand built wood features back in the Old days, but it was just a house and I found out that the chinese would rent a room out of the basement from that man that owned the whole thing and they paid him rent, of course and they could leave out underground in the tunnels and come back and sleep in the room at night. so many questions I've had the house 15 years and I look around. I wondered why there was evidence of horses being in the carriage house yet.
Things have been modified almost none, but if you look and you really look, you can see what they use things for he had Chinese and black skinned Indians. And the wealthy white, all operating on the same corner property. they built the house at the time of the spanish flu, which wasn't spanish at all.It started in kansas, at a military base and spread all over the world. This house had a second living room built because when your family passed away and you had so many dead in the house for many weeks before the truck would roll around, and you would take the bodies out and toss them on the back of the flatbed truck. So this house had the second giant living room built, which was common back then later that was where the school was that giant room with all the windows.

I have heard the phrase growing app many times if the house could tell the story well, just like in this lecture, mountains can tell the story of the conditions the Chinese lived under. Worked under and died under. everything tells a story of what was there before if we would just look. I watched another lecture prior to this one and it was talking about artifacts, an archeologist. The archeologists who are not from the culture, can walk up and see a whole bunch of weeds. It's growing together and think nothing that's weeds from that region, but the cultures that lived in that region before look at those weeds and instead It's a medicine chest. this lecture was over the top awesome. I absorbed it. I will remember it. The rest of my life and I learned so much about things I didn't know vaguely new, there were cattle pins. These are hard points, but they're truths, and the Chinese were put in those cattle holding pins and starved to death in the hot Sun. After they got the railroad parts done that.
We're desired, much like the Buffalo not to compare people and humans to animals, but all things are equal in some cultures. They are all living things held helpless. Then left to die in the sun starving in the case of the Chinese, after their hard backbreaking labor was used to build the railroads, those railroads made money for everybody else. They used them as long as they could stand some in the freezing cold some in the scorching Sun. But all never with enough food to eat andreuben Like they weren't human beings, we're living until they weren't. this lecture brought to the point that those who died were not list it anywhere. Basically, they were workhorses, or robots if you want to call it that, but never listed as living or dying humans. the lecture was great overall. I learned so much in so little time, and every bit of it made me think and will make me think deeper in the future
