The Future of Archaeology is Indigenous

This was a well focused to the point. Easy to understand very, very informative.
Condensed blessing. I learned something with every paragraph even every sentence. clear concise explanatory was very easy to absorb and retain. he is a very gifted orator has a great way of making you hang on every word because it's so interesting. It's like he told the story of history from the first people's. I'm too present. All wrapped up in that nutshell. he painted a clear picture. I can see in my mind. Mentioning bunches of plants together and how that to a Native American is a medicine chest and basically would have been to my eyes, nothing but in the future, because of the way he told this story from a to z.
I will forever look at bunches of flowers and use my Google Lens to see what it is because before it was nothing. I also never thought about the concept of bulldozers moving what we call artifacts around, which are Items and possessions many times sacred from the people that walk this earth before me. so how can archeologist who know nothing of the people through the culture put together a small arrow head in this region to a spear in another region, just literally guessing in everything, making up stories to me is what that is not having a solid idea or information or truth. Instead, like he said, a bulldozer could have moved it from one region to another may not have been from the same tribe. thoughts ways cultures beliefs ways of hunting call Cheryl, making of different pots with different materials? So when people that know nothing of the peoples that were here first, how can they just make assumptions and tried to ponder and seemed so authoritative about something they know nothing about, only daydreaming on presumptions. This is a great, great condensed version of decades of learning and understanding on his part and presenting it to us in a handful, so appealing to the mind that it unfolds the story.
From long ago to present effortlessly, I'm so explanatory. I enjoyed this class and I will look for more from him.
