I have found this course useful in introducing one to the precepts and basics of Teledentistry. I say this because it almost seems bizarre to imagine a way of practising Dentistry in the virtual space. However, after listening to all the speakers, it comes out clearly that Teledentistry is key in improving accessibility to oral health care, which is a challenge facing the oral health sector regardless of geographic location. It has also sparked an interest in me in exploring Digital Health, considering the evolution and automation of health and health-related practices and just technology at large, especially with the strong emergence and insurgence of numerous Artificial Intelligence entities.
