The course addresses the transition from traditional marketing to Demand Generation and Growth Marketing. It is structured around three main pillars:
Demand Generation vs. Demand Capture: The distinction between "fishing" for those who are already looking to buy and "creating desire" in those who are not yet aware of the solution.
Mechanisms of Virality: The science behind why certain ideas and content spread organically while others fade away.
Strategic Content Marketing: How to use content not just for entertainment, but to position a brand as an authority and accelerate the sales cycle.
In this course, we can learn the psychological triggers that drive people to share content. -
The course on content marketing is very informative and insightful, I learnt to distinguish between inbound marketing and outbound marketing. I cannot wait to put in the lessons in practice in my current role!

It doesn't take very long, but it gives you a very good understanding of Content Marketing and an actual strategy, rather than just blindly throwing content out and hoping it works. Mini courses like this are the way of the future. I love being able to learn exactly what I need, when I need it, and now I can say I have taken coursework at Stanford ;)

A final, but important note: This report urges marketers to measure content performance as it exists within
a larger ecosystem, an important key to establishing the value of demand generation efforts. And as we
understand the value of the demand we create, it comes back full circle to the content we create, leading
to longer and more meaningful relationships with our audiences. -
