Engineering Climate - Ice911 Study

My name is Ernest K. Browne, and I am from Liberia. While I have limited experience with glaciers, this course on the melting of ice and the rate at which extinction can occur is alarming, and as s individual believe this course has expanded my understanding of climate change. The loss of ice is not just a local issue; it contributes to rising sea levels and changes in weather patterns that affect us all.

In Liberia, many of our vehicles are not environmentally friendly, and there is little focus on carbon dioxide reduction strategies. This highlights a pressing need for increased awareness and action regarding climate issues in my country.

To effectively combat climate change, Liberia must adopt a more holistic approach that includes investing in sustainable transportation, promoting renewable energy, and raising public awareness, which I believe is limited. I would like to delve more into these issues and look forward to accessing more on this.
