This course clearly explains the Urban Heat Island effect using real data, visuals, and scientific evidence. The concepts are broken down in a way that is easy to understand but still academically strong. I especially appreciated how it connected climate science with real urban planning challenges. However, I would have liked to see more case studies from developing cities and more practical mitigation strategies. Overall, it’s a valuable course for students interested in sustainability, climate change, and urban development.
