Saxophone Repair and Maintenance

This course by Jaye Metcalf gives a great overview of basic saxophone maintenance.
This can easily be done at home with Jayes instruction.
Anything issues that go beyond this tutorial is best accomplished by a professional saxophone technician.
It’s good to note that the saxophone technician has a skill set that has been acquired over many years of experience being trained by skilled mentors .
This skill appears to be specialised and rather interesting . I believe it would be a great skill to aquire if possible under appropriate specialised technicians that could at the very least be used to maintain your own saxophone.
Who knows, you might get proficient enough to do this successfully as a source of employment or even a hobby.
