Hi , my name is Paul skinner and I’ve been asked to do an in depth review for public speaking.

Ah yes, public speaking!! Those two words will send a lot of people running the other direction , YIKES!

I took a course on public speaking years ago and evidently it was the number #1 fear of people , that’s worse than death !!

Something to think about !

This is an interesting personal observation I made after watching lectures at the university I attended . Even if I wasn’t interested in the subject matter ; the enthusiasm of the orator had me enthused about the subject matter !

How great it that !! They say enthusiasm attracts enthusiasm! I think their right .

I can definitely tell a amateur speaker to a professional speaker . The professional speaker persuades with words , leaving the audience at the edge of their seat with great anticipation.

Being a great orator is like being a world class chef in my opinion; you don’t leave out any ingredients that would make your speech look weak .

No wonder great public speakers are in demand these days ; people need to be inspired to get excited about their lives!

I personally would like to give public speaking a try !! It would be such a thrill to try to master the art of public persuasion .

That doesn’t mean I would have to speak in front of thousands of people ; not at all ! It could just be a hundred or less.

To me you can’t come in with the mindset of giving a perfect speech because your gonna fail . It’s learning from your mistakes and being determined to do better that makes up your character in my opinion!

I was trying to think back a hundred years ago what public speaking was like ?

From what I understand it was the independent thinkers , the ones that went against the grain that people admired I mean who wants to hear the same ol thing from everyone who thought the same right?

In my
Opinion great speakers weren’t born that way but made that way through hard work and dedication.
Public speaking is an exciting venue to get your thoughts across hopefully in a positive way to your audience.

To sum up I think great public speakers are a rare breed and we need to see more of them !!!

I hope this review was helpful in anyway to anyone who wants to try this unique medium !

The feedback from the instructor was helpful and encouraging. It helped me see what I was doing well and what I could improve. I especially liked learning how to manage my nerves and speak more confidently.

By the end of the course, I felt much more confident speaking in front of people. The skills I learned have already helped me at work and in everyday situations.

Public speaking is very nice course for every individual to study it. It improves your confidence level. The key for public speaking is preparations and warning your body and mind. Be more confident and have positive mindset. Public speaking helps you to introduce yourself in the Art of storytelling. You should be able to create stories from the books you read and the movies you watch. For creating stories you have to know who a hero is in story that you're telling , your quest, objectives, auxiliaries and opponents. And for presentation you have to master your body language, like standing still don't be moving. Always manage your movements. Using your hands for presentation you should be flexible and you shouldn't cover your face with your hands. You shouldn't fold hands or crossing your hands at your back. Public speaking taught me to always smile with your heart when going for an interview for presenting a topic to a class . It also teaches you how to eliminate verbal tics when presenting a topic some of these verbal tics are ; like, so, actually, and then and many more. It has really helped me a lot
