In that lecture, it explains about crude oil or especially petroleum raw feed to carry on to the lab experiment and lab testing the sample. The sample test are porosity, volatility, flash point, chromatography, spectroscopy, etc. In the lab, crude oil could be distillated by using batch Distillation column with reflux system, condenser, reboiler (heating mantle and voltmeter) with the bottom and the top much of them. The bottom could be residue like asphalt, naphthalene, naphthenes, diesel, gasoline, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, and Natural Gas which are going to test using the instrumentations in the lab for the testing. We have to know the behaviour of crude oil or oil sampling due to the oil has the best quality to do refinery in the next process.

It was a good lecture, and the clarification was good. I think if there is a video for testing, which means a real test, it will be better for understanding. Sometimes it would be good if there were a problem - solve in the lectures. some slides especially pictures not that clear. permeability and porosity were well explained and clear, and students could understand very easily.
