A lecture by Prof. Elisa Roma from the University of Pavia exploring PaVeDa, an open source database designed for investigating verb argument structures across languages, with a focus on the recent addition of ancient languages including Early Latin, Classic Armenian, Farsi, Ancient Greek, Sanskrit and Old Irish. Discover how this linguistic resource enables comparative research on verb structures across historical languages. The talk was presented in collaboration with the Diagnostic Project (Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland), the Department of Early Irish at Maynooth University, the Maynooth research cluster "Mind and Matter in the Middle Ages," and the School of Celtic Studies at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS).
