What are mushrooms? What about molds? Lichens? We've all heard the word "fungi" before, so what are those, are they plants? They are not! Fungi actually belong to their own kingdom, just like animals and plants each have their own kingdom, and these are absolutely fascinating organisms which deserve their own series. The study of fungi is called mycology, so join me as we discuss the various taxa within this kingdom, and the absolutely incredible morphologies and properties of the organisms within!

A very good and helpful course for anyone starting out in mycology. The lessons were clear, engaging, and easy to follow, making it a strong introduction to the subject. I gave it a four-star rating because there’s still a bit of room for added depth, but overall it was an excellent learning experience.

Incredibly in depth and educational. The complex terminology is also simplified afterwards to make it easy to understand and follow along! For anyone with minimal or no knowledge of fungi, this is the perfect starting point for obtaining alot of important information on fungi to help people along on their mycology journey!

Great course! Professor Dave explain each and everything very precisely about taxonomy and key features to identify different mushrooms. He explains life cycle of different fungi with great knowledge. This course cover as much knowledge for beginners mycology students.

Very insightful I learn so much about mushroom and the importance of them been in the environment. Mushroom help to brake of trash if it wasn't for mushroom the earth would be fill with trash.

I think the course is covering the most basic knowledge needed for someone to start his journey to becoming a solid mycologist. The method used to explain the terminologies is very punctual and laconic, which is important for not getting confused. All in all, my recommendations!
