This course is concise and informative. It reveals the prevention as well as the treatment of HIV .The followup of patient with the ART , helps in the transmission of the virus especially in discordant couple. The home HIV testing is also great, the sensitivity splendid, it makes more people know their status.Developing places were other test like STIs are done makes people comfortable to present themselves for HIV testing and counseling.HIV test results can now be accessed early due to the introduction of 4th generation testing were diagnosis can be achieved in as early as two weeks as opposed to six weeks in previous testing strategies, the fourth generation testing can detect antibodies to HIV as we as protein from the virus.
