This talk presents automated techniques for finding and mitigating vulnerabilities in embedded TCP/IP stacks through binary firmware analysis and live network traffic analysis. It demonstrates data-flow analysis, symbolic execution, Ghidra-based analysis, vulnerability exposure assessment, and exploit-attempt detection using NicheStack vulnerabilities as examples.
